Whether you’re having an extravagant wedding, an intimate party, or a blow-out celebration, Elegantly Iced cakes will awe and impress you and your guests alike. Each cake is a one-of-a-kind collaboration with you to create an inspired and beautiful work of art that represents you and your tastes.

Lindsey will work closely with you to ensure that your custom cake has the maximum impact within your design budget. We achieve the most amazing designs when we receive suggestions and directions from you. You are commissioning a sculpture that will be the centerpiece of your event, so let yourself be creative! Your imagination is the only limitation!

Elegantly Iced operates by appointment only. We would love to hear from you in your earliest stages of planning, as we do often book up months in advance. The more advance notice you give us, the more time we can devote to your cake.

Once you have contacted us with some preliminary information, such as the date, time, and type of event you are having, Lindsey will set up a time to meet with you for a tasting. You will meet in-person to discuss your ideas and interests, look through pictures and portfolios and anything else you may have gathered to help brainstorm. You may find inspiration in pictures or clippings from magazines, stationary, textiles, jewelry, heirlooms, paintings or drawings. Venue, floral choices and the general feel and theme of your event will play a part in the design as well. You will be amazed at all Lindsey can create from these inspirations!

Next you will taste up to four different flavors of delicious cakes. (Please tell us in advance if there are any ingredients that you need to avoid. If you or any of your guests have issues with nuts, strawberries, or alcohol just let us know.) As you enjoy your cake, Lindsey will work with your information, copy any information that is needed, and start some preliminary sketches. It may take time and multiple sketches to finalize the design, but Lindsey will be in constant contact with you until your idea is realized…a unique and delicious work of art!
